If you’re looking for a fast, fun, and festive way to give money or a gift card this Christmas, these handmade wallets are the perfect solution. They come together quickly, look beautifully polished, and are ideal for adding that extra special handmade touch to your holiday gifting.

This project features the Sign Design stamp set, which coordinates perfectly with its matching punch for crisp, clean sentiments every time. I’ve created two versions of the wallet—one in Cherry Cobbler and one in Garden Green—each with its own seasonal flair.

Garden Green Wallet

The first wallet is made using Garden Green cardstock paired with the elegant patterns from the Traditions of Christmas DSP. The classic poinsettias and soft gold accents give this version a traditional, timeless feel. It’s perfect for gifting at Christmas parties, family gatherings, or popping into a festive stocking.

Cherry Cobbler Wallet

For the second wallet, I switched to Cherry Cobbler cardstock and matched it with the Christmas Tags and More DSP. The bright, cheerful tartan pattern provides a fresh and playful look—ideal for children, teens, or anyone who loves vibrant Christmas colours.

Decorative Details

Both wallets are finished with holly leaves, berries, and a bow from the Christmas Greenery dies. To give the embellishments a subtle shimmer, I added Wink of Stella to the bow and holly berries. This small touch of sparkle really lifts the project and adds that magical Christmas glow.

How the Wallet Works

This small wallet features a simple fold-and-layer construction, allowing it to be assembled quickly while maintaining a wonderfully detailed appearance. The belly band holds everything securely in place and features the “Merry & Bright” sentiment from the Sign Design set, punched out neatly and popped up with dimensionals. Inside, there’s plenty of space to tuck in a gift card, a folded note, or money—whatever suits your festive gifting needs.

Three Designs, Endless Possibilities

I created three variations to show how easily you can switch up the look simply by changing the cardstock and paper:

  • Real Red + Traditions of Christmas DSP – A bright and classic Christmas design with traditional poinsettias and rich festive tones.
  • Garden Green + Christmas Tags & More DSP – A fun and playful version with candy canes and cheerful patterns.
  • Real Red + North Pole Delivery DSP – A nostalgic, postage-themed design that feels wonderfully whimsical and perfect for gifting.

Each pouch is decorated using a selection of die-cuts from the Christmas Tags & More DSP, along with coordinating Greetings for You cardstock stickers. These elements make decorating quick, easy, and beautifully cohesive.

Traditions of Christmas Paper – Make Some Quick and Easy Cards – Crafting with Ashee – Independent Stampin’ Up! Demo – Lincoln UK.

If you’re looking for a quick and easy way to create beautiful handmade Christmas cards, the Traditions of Christmas paper is a perfect choice! This stunning collection is filled with elegant festive designs that make cardmaking effortless yet impressive.

For today’s card, I paired the paper with the Traditional Labels stamp and die set to create a classic and timeless Christmas look. The rich colours and intricate details of this collection bring a touch of luxury to your festive projects.

Creating the Card

The focal image on this card was cut directly from the Traditions of Christmas paper using the matching dies. This is one of my favourite tricks for making multiple cards quickly — the paper does all the hard work for you!

I mounted the image on a deep Cherry Cobbler background, framed with a gold oval for a touch of elegance. The sentiment Season’s Greetings comes from the Traditional Labels stamp set, perfectly tying the design together.

This layout is ideal for batch-making cards — simply die-cut several images from the patterned paper, stamp your sentiments, and assemble. You’ll have a whole set of festive cards ready in no time!

A Touch of Classic Christmas Charm

What I love most about this project is its balance of simplicity and sophistication. The combination of bold red tones, gold detailing, and traditional Christmas florals captures the season beautifully.

Whether you’re new to cardmaking or just looking for a quick project, this design will help you create elegant cards with minimal effort — perfect for sending handmade joy this Christmas!
