I haven’t used this stamp set in ages. Not sure why as it is such a lovely set. I love this really big sunflower and of course, it has a matching die. I stamped this sunflower in Daffodil Delight. It wasn’t as vibrant as I wanted it to be so I decided to use Stampin’ Blend alcohol markers to add more detail. It really makes a huge difference.

It is a lovely sunny day here in Lincoln as I write this. “Hello Sunshine”, therefore, seems an appropriate title for this blog post. I love sunflowers. There is one beautiful one in a garden in the next road. They are beautiful as they reflect the joy of the sun and of course they are great source of food for the birds.

Isn’t this a great stamp set? This is the second time I’ve used it and I am going to do lots more with it. I am so happy with the way this card turned out. The sunflower is so happy and jolly. I coloured the petals in using a marker and blender pen. It is a great trick for colouring in.
