How to Use Heat Embossing to Help You Watercolour – Berry Harvest – Crafting with Ashee – Independent Stampin’ Up! – Lincoln UK

The Berry Harvest stamp is a large background stamp. When I saw this one I knew I wanted to watercolour the image. I’ve heat-embossed the image with gold embossing powder. Heating embossing the image makes water colouring easy as the embossing helps you stay in the lines.

For my watercolouring, I used a water painter and my ink pads. Quick, easy and lots of fun. I do painting and colouring, do you?

Berry Burst / Real Red Cardstock – A6 Card Base – This is an A4 sheet cut in half and then folded in half.
Fluid 100 Watercolour paper – Half a sheet.
Basic White Cardstock – 14.35cm X 10cm

Make a Multi-Layer Snowflake Card – Sparkling Snowflake – Christmas Card – Crafting with Ashee – Independent Stampin’ Up! Demo – UK

I first made these multi-layer cards when I started to make cards and loved them. I still love them. They are easy to make and have a real wow factor. The stamp set used here is Sparkling Snowflake. Do you like it too?

I used removable adhesive to attach the 3 white layers as one while I stamped the snowflakes. The smallest snowflakes come the Beary Cute stamp set. This card is made in two colour ways. Which do you like best?

How I Made a Sparkling Snowflake Background Christmas Card – Beary Cute – Crafting with Ashee – Independent Stampin’ Up! Demo – UK

I love stamping my own patterned paper. Do you? The inspiration for the colours I used here came from the Snowflake Magic speciality designer series paper. It is a lovely foiled set of papers. I’m only using a little bit at a time I am hoarding it as it’s just so pretty.

When I first designed this card, I felt something was missing. It was an embellishment. The glitter sequins in the middle of the snowflakes bring the whole card to life. Do you agree? I think it would be nice to create a set of cards of this design in different colours to give as a gift. A future project down the line.
