Make a Large Christmas Tag With Me

Make a Large Christmas Tag With Me – Merriest Moments – Crafting with Ashee – Independent Stampin’ Up! Demo – Lincoln UK.

I like big tags such as this one as they can double as a Christmas card as well. Two for the price of one, can’t be bad. This tag is actually the size of an A6 card front. I’ve rounded the top edges for some extra interest.

I’ve used the Painted Christmas designer series paper which makes a great background. The flowers and leaves were all stamped in one go and cut out together which means making this tag is easy and simple.

How to Mask an Area of a Card – Ink Blending – Merriest Moments – Christmas Card – Crafting with Ashee – Independent Stampin’ Up! Demo – UK

The photo doesn’t do this card justice. It is difficult to photograph the variations and depth the ink blending gives this card.

In this Focus Friday project, I’m looking at using masking paper to create an image on the card. Here I’ve used it to make this perfect white circle surrounded by the inked background. I’ve used the layering circle dies to cut the circle out of masking paper. You can re-use this mask so keep the backing paper safe.

Thick Basic White Cardstock – A6 Card Base – This is an A4 sheet cut in half and then folded in half.

I love how this box turned out. I’ve made it before but updated it for this project. The Lights Aglow Designer Series Paper has a little gold foiling in it which just lifts the whole box. The above version is in Cherry Cobbler and I made a Soft Succulent one below. Which do you prefer?

I love this fun card. We actually made this in my upline’s team training recently and I wanted to share a different version with you. I call it my pointy card as it stands on its 3 points. So clever!!

The version above uses the Santa Express Designer Series Paper (DSP). Yes I know I made a mistake with the orientation of the paper but I still think it looks cute. The version below uses the Lights Aglow DSP and Real Red cardstock. Which do you prefer?

Fast and Easy Christmas Bag – No Cutting Required – Painted Christmas – Merriest Moments – Crafting with Ashee – Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator – Lincoln UK.

I’ve made this bag a number of times. It is a great one to make as requires no cutting and minimal scoring. You can make them in a great number easily in many sizes. They store flat until you want to use them and string the ribbon through them. What more could you want from a gift bag?

The tag is hand stamped using the Merriest Moments stamp set. You can see me make a similar oversize tag on the previous blog post.

Make Your Own Oversized Christmas Tag

Make Your Own Oversized Christmas Tag – Merriest Moments – Crafting with Ashee – Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator – Lincoln UK.

I love this tag, it is a card and tag all in one. It is totally hand-stamped and uses no designer series paper (DSP). This means I can tailor the colours and design to my personal preference. I’ve used the gilded gems in places to give it that necessary bling for Christmas. The combination of Shaded Spruce (green) and Cherry Cobbler really works for me. They are traditional Christmas colours but still look fresh and vibrant together.

Sometimes I just have to do with traditional colours. Here they are Real Red and Mossy Meadow (Green). They look great together as they are complementary colours in the colour wheel. This means they are directly opposite to each other on the colour wheel. This makes the colours really pop when used together.

This box is very easy to make and I would certainly love to receive a special gift housed in this box. I do hope you give it a go and show me your creations in my Facebook group.

The cherry cobbler ribbon on this box really makes it special. You won’t believe how long I fiddled and fiddled with that box to try and make it look half decent. Bows are really not my forte. The paper is beautiful wintery Painted Chistmas. I love this design. Its wintery but not necessarily Christmas which makes it so versatile.

The basis of this card is just really ink, paper and stamps. Easy to make and easy to reproduce. The pine cones are from the Christmas Season stamp set. I love these pine cones. They are part of a two-step stamping set but I just used the one layer here and I think they look amazing. All the background images are from this set and I just stamped in any way that took my fancy to create this background.
