What is Two-Step Stamping?

Two-step stamping involves layering two or more stamps to build depth, detail, and dimension. In these cards, I’ve used bold circular bursts as the base image and layered a second coordinating stamp to complete the look. It’s an easy way to add texture and vibrance without needing complicated techniques.

Card One: Cool Tones with Coastal Vibes

This version features a fresh and cool colour palette: Pretty Peacock, Coastal Cabana, and Lost Lagoon. The combination creates a calm yet festive vibe, ideal for birthdays that call for something slightly more understated but still fun. A scattering of stamped stars and enamel dots finishes the background, adding that extra pop of cheer.

Card Two: Bright Bursts of Colour

If bold and bright is more your style, this version in Shaded Spruce, Poppy Parade, and Cherry Cobbler is for you. The red hues really bring the celebratory bursts to life, while the green centres and stamped sentiments in Shaded Spruce tie everything together beautifully.

• Shaded Spruce / Pretty Peacock Cardstock – A6 Card Base – This is an A4 sheet cut in half and then folded in half.
