Making a Small Gift Box using the “In the Wild” Paper – Sunny Sentiments – Crafting with Ashee – Independent Stampin’ Up Demo – Lincoln UK

This cute little gift box is a companion piece to the card I made in the previous blog post. It uses the gorgeous “In the Wild” designer series paper. The paper is all about the big cats, mainly tigers and leopards. I’ve focused on the tigers for both this box and the previous card.

I do hope that Stampin’ Up! will bring out another collection with animals from the veld such as elephants, zebras & giraffes. I loved seeing them in the national parks back in South Africa. If you didn’t know all my maternal family are back in South Africa so it holds a special place for me.

Make a Christmas Card with a Secret Message / Tag – Sweet Stocking – Holly Jolly Wishes – Crafting with Ashee – Independent Stampin’ Up Demonstrator Lincoln UK.

I’ve made this style of card a number of times now. I just love the idea of the place for a hidden tag or gift card. The paper I used this time is the Sweet Stocking Designer Series Paper (DSP). It’s so cute that I didn’t want to cover it up with too many embellishments. I really wanted to let this paper sing good and loud.

Candy Canes – How to Heat Emboss a Background – Christmas to Remember – Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator based in Lincoln UK

Gosh, I’m so pleased with how this turned out. I wanted to make this card ever since I first saw the Candy Canes stamp set in the catalogue. The contrast between the white heat embossing and the red background is so striking.

Heat embossing is very easy to do but always feels like magic to me. This dull powder becomes glossy and beautiful as it melts under the heat tool. To make this card I used a larger panel than I needed of real red so that I could cut it down to get or of any imperfections around the edges. Please do watch the video and try it yourself. Enjoy the magic!!!

You Warm My Heart – Easy Christmas Card

You Warm My Heart – Easy Christmas Card – Encircled in Warmth – Crafting with Ashee – Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator based in Lincoln UK.

This is a very simple card to make. I love big, bold sentiments as you know. This sentiment is part of a Christmas set but would be equally good for Valentine’s Day. The greens of Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen aren’t traditional but work well. The Encircled in Beauty Dies just give it that something, something.

Introducing Polished Pink – Birthday Card

Introducing Polished Pink – Birthday Card – Pretty Perennials – Perennial Dies – Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator based in Lincoln UK.

Polished Pink is one of the new in-colours that goes live in May this year. It is not one of the “pinkiest” pinks you have ever seen. I love how bold and bright is. This card also uses two of the other new in-colours, Soft Succulent ( the DSP) and Evening Evergreen (the cardbase).

I love how all these colour work so well together. They just pop and make me happy. The rhinestones as the flower centres are the perfect finishing touches.
