An Easy Celebration Card – Diamond / Bull’s Eye – Design

If you’re in the mood for a fun and easy papercrafting project, this celebration card is just the thing! With its bold diamond (or bull’s eye) layout and bright, cheerful elements, it’s a great way to send joyful wishes for birthdays, graduations, or any special moment worth celebrating.

What makes this design stand out is the playful combination of layers and patterns. The diamond shape instantly catches the eye, especially when paired with florals and a central stamped image. I used Garden Green as the base to add a natural, grounded feel, perfectly complementing the Lovely Garden patterned paper.

At the heart of the design is the sweetest little bee, stamped using the Choose Happy stamp set. I coloured it with Stampin’ Write markers in Pool Party and Daffodil Delight for a fresh, springtime vibe. The bee’s little trail adds a sense of movement and whimsy, while the “LET’S CELEBRATE” sentiment keeps things versatile for all kinds of occasions.

This card is colourful but I’ve only used a limited colour palette of primary colours. My first version uses Real Red, Crushed Curry and Azure Afternoon. I used the colours in the cardstock and the balloons. Repeating the colours gives the card a cohesive feel.

The second card is the same design but is of the pastel variety. The colours are Petal Pink, Balmy Blue and Lemon Lolly. Which version do you think is best? Let me know in the comments below.

It is the Flower & Field designer series paper which is a freebie I got during Sale-a-bration. There is very little wastage with this box as the belly band is made using the left over cardstock from making the base.
