If you’re looking for a card that combines bold design with a simple technique, this project might be just what you need! Today I’m sharing a cheerful and modern card featuring the Sunshine Vibes stamp set, paired with coordinating Boho Vibes paper. The clean layout and pop of colour make it ideal for sending a positive message to someone special.

Creating Impact with a Few Key Elements

This card focuses on a few thoughtful touches to make it stand out:

  • A strip of patterned paper from the Boho Vibes collection adds a fresh, contemporary feel.
  • I used the Fancy Border dies to add a decorative edge – a great way to bring texture without clutter.
  • The sentiment “Sending Good Vibes” is framed using the Stylish Shapes dies, and I used partial die cutting to give it a custom fit that really draws the eye.

The colours are bright and happy, with that sunshine theme carried through the stamped background. I’ve added a few subtle embellishments for sparkle, but the overall look stays clean and unfussy.

Techniques to Try

If you’re new to partial die cutting, don’t worry – it’s easier than it sounds! In the accompanying YouTube tutorial, I’ll walk you through the process step by step, so you can recreate this design with confidence.

Using border dies to create interesting edges is another technique worth experimenting with. You can transform any card base into something eye-catching with just a single pass through your die-cutting machine.
