Colour Challenge – Accepted – Thank You Card – Ornate Thanks – Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator based in Lincoln UK.

I am part of a larger team of demonstrators here in the UK. In our group page we have every Monday, something called Mojo Monday. Each Monday once of us will either post a colour challenge or a sketch which we all interpret with our own creations. This week the colour challenge was to use Basic Grey, Bermuda Bay and Melon Mambo. This was my creation.

Try This Pretty Gift Box filled with Yummy Chocolates using the Peony Garden Designer Series Paper – Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator based in Lincoln UK

I’ve not been going out much in the last few months. The other week I ventured out to Poundland. I went early around 8am before anyone was around. I picked up these chocolates and decided to make a little box to give them as little gift.

The paper here is the Peony Garden. It is a quite a pastel set of paper and therefore looks good against a dark background. I think the glittered black ribbon just make this box.

- On the 10″ side at 1″,4 1/2″, 5 1/2″ & 9″
- On the 5 3/4″ at 1″ & 8″

Simple and Easy Elegant Thank You Card – Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator in Lincoln UK

The lattie work in the background of this card is all one die called the Many Medallions diet. I’ve used adhesive sheet to glue it to my cardstock so that I am not struggling with tiny beads of glue oozing it everywhere. It does make for a stunning backdrop for my sentiment. As usual I’ve used bold colours for a contrast so that everything pops from the page.

Do you Love Peonies in the Garden?

Do you Love Peonies in the Garden? – Peony Garden – Stampin’ Up! Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator based in Lincoln Uk.

I love Peonies. They are some big, beautiful blooms. I’ve created this Peony Garden thank you card using the designer series paper of the same name. This paper is all pastels so perfect those who like a less bright and bold card.

This is a simple technique. I’ve taken a piece of dsp and divided into three. The centre panel has then been flipped to show the other side. I’ve finished with a simple sentiment and some rhinestones.

I’ve been reading a lot of comments in social media about the current situation in the world. Some are lovely and some I am saddened to say are down right vile. I think this is why I love crafting. It seems to bring the best out of people and I’ve met so many lovely people through it for which I am so grateful.
