Make a Large Christmas Tag With Me – Merriest Moments – Crafting with Ashee – Independent Stampin’ Up! Demo – Lincoln UK.

I like big tags such as this one as they can double as a Christmas card as well. Two for the price of one, can’t be bad. This tag is actually the size of an A6 card front. I’ve rounded the top edges for some extra interest.

I’ve used the Painted Christmas designer series paper which makes a great background. The flowers and leaves were all stamped in one go and cut out together which means making this tag is easy and simple.

This panel design is very simple design and easy to tweak. Here I’ve divided up my background piece into three equal-sized panels and placed a different word on each one.

I’ve done this type of card before but this time I’ve tweaked it by adding the little wood veneer elements. These are called Textural Elements. They are coloured using a sponge dauber and Cherry Cobbler ink pad. I’ve let them dry and then added some Wink of Stella for some Christmas bling.

Look!! Cute Christmas Card For You Today – Caroling Mice – Watercolouring – Crafting with Ashee – Independent Stampin’ Up! Demo – Lincoln UK.

Aren’t these little mice so adorable? I love them. They remind me of the little mice from Bramley Hedge. They create a traditional Christmas card that anyone would be happy to receive.

I coloured these mice using my water painter and ink pads. It’s a very simple and easy way to watercolour. One thing to note is to use the correct paper. I used Shimmery White which takes water very well. You could also use watercolour paper but remember that it’s textured and therefore more difficult to stamp on.

  • Pacific Point Cardstock – A6 Cardbase – This is an A4 sheet cut in half and then folded in half
  • Shimmer White – 14.35cm X 10cm
  • Basic White – 14.35cm X 10cm

How to Make This Penguin Snowflake Card- Penguin Place / Snow Crystal – Crafting with Ashee – Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator – Lincoln UK

I love how bright and white the heat-embossed snowflake looks against the red of the designer series paper. It acts as a perfect background for this cute little penguin. Do you love penguins? I have a friend who is mad about them. I was thinking of her when I made this card.

The Penguin Place stamp set has a matching punch for the penguin. I fussy cut out his hat and scarf. It is very simple fussy cutting but still, I was impressed with the outcome. I used the gold glimmer paper to give somewhere for my penguin to stand so he was floating. It adds that essential Christmas sparkle to the card.

How to Use the Snowball Accent Puff Paint – Santa Delivery – Crafting with Ashee – Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator – Lincoln UK

I’ve used the Santa Delivery stamp set before and am in love with it. It’s just so cute. It really says Christmas to me. I’ve coloured it using the Stampin’ Blend alcohol markers as before. I do find it so relaxing, I can just lose myself in the colouring.

For a while, I’ve wanted to use the Snowball Accents Puff paint but it has just sat in my stash. I decided to use it at least. Here are my thoughts. It does puff up nicely. The puff is not solid but more squishy. It also is very light which is great for posting. You can see above I’ve used a small line of paint under the wheels of the train. Try to keep your line of paint quite thin as the thicker it is the longer it will take to puff up. Do make sure you get your heat tool, nice and hot before you bring it to the paint. It really needs to be hot to get the paint to puff up. If you get it hot before you bring it to the card there is less chance of your paper warping.

These are such dinky little treat boxes. The Design a Treat Box die cuts out the whole box for you as well as giving all the score lines. Included in the die are lots of extras. There are the numbers to make an advent calendar as well as the little labels. Also provided are pieces to change your little treat box into cute critters.

I’ve used the sparkly very vanilla glimmer paper to make my little labels but it doesn’t show up well on camera. Cameras I’ve found hate sparkle and glitter. The number die is one strip so you can cut all the numbers in one go. The numbers are cut individually but the die is one strip. You can you the positive or the negative of the number image. You could cut them into different colours and inlay the dies for a different effect.

I love the die I’ve used to cut out the frame for this card. It would also make a perfect shaker pocket don’t you think? The snowman is sitting on a snowbank cut from Very Vanilla glimmer paper. The camera doesn’t pick up the lovely glittery effect at all, but trust me it is there.

The sentiment is heat embossed with white embossing powder to match the snowy vibe of the card.
