As you may know, tulips are my favourite flower. I love all the colours and various forms, even when they are going over and the petals open out, they look gorgeous. This stamp set is Timeless Tulips. It has a matching punch making it super easy to use. I have stamped some images flat and then stamped punched out others to give the card added interest and dimension.

I am really looking forward to the flower this Spring. The crocuses and some daffodils are just starting to flower and it really makes my heart sing. It gives me hope that in all this darkness of winter there is light.

I’ve been having fun playing with my new blending brushes. Initially I ordered one pack which has three brushes but recently order two more packs I now a brush for each colour in the colour wheel as well as grey and brown. I just clean them off after use on a towel and they are good to go.

I used three different blues to create this background starting with lightest, Balmy Blue, then Pacific Point and finally Night of Navy. Layering the colours always creates extra depth and interest in the background I feel.

measurements

I made this bag to go with the mother’s day card I just made. They both use the same colours and gorgeous Hydrangea Hills designer series paper. This is another project we made in my online card club that I host in my Facebook group each month. I love the sentiment on this bag, it fits how I feel about my mother perfectly. We made this card in my February Virtual Card Club that I host in my Facebook group. It was so cute I wanted to share it with you too. The Hydrangea suite of products in the mini catalogue is my favourite one out of the whole catalogue. As you know I am a sucker for anything floral and this ticks all my boxes. It has lovely stamps, paper, dies and of course embellishments, what more could a girl want?

I’ve matched the colours of the die cut hydrangeas to the paper, keeping everything in blue and purple tones. I want to draw you attention to the pastel pearls. They are simply gorgeous. Please do check them out as they coming in a few colours and yes, I’ve fallen in love with them.
