I love to use my scraps. I hate having tons of leftovers. Are you the same? This is a great way to use scraps. I took strips of designer series paper and stuck them to a piece of Basic White cardstock in an order that was pleasing to my eye. A tip is to ensure they are well stuck done, I used an adhesive sheet but you could also use a wet glue. This became my “new” patterned paper to die cut as I pleased.

Measurements

  • Garden Green Cardstock – A6 Card Base – This is an A4 sheet cut in half and then folded in half.
  • Basic White Cardstock – 14.35cm X 10cm x 2 pieces

I call this my bullseye design as you have a single focal image on the card. Here it is this adorable Christmas Tree from the Decorative Trees stamp set. I’ve paired it with the Take a Bow designer series paper (DSP) to give a central pop of colour. The gold foil sheet used in the garlands gives it some Christmas bling!!

The minute I saw the Snowy Wonder stamp set in the new catalogue, I knew I wanted it. I love all these small images. They are versatile. I have so many ideas for future cards using this set. Today I’ve used the gorgeous little penguin. In my mind, the penguin is dancing with the candy cane. I was thinking of Fred Astaire but as a penguin.
