Did you know you can stamp with the Stampin’ Write markers from Stampin’ Up! It works like a charm. I’ve used a rainbow assortment of markers to stamp. Where the colours meet I’ve used my markers to blend one colour into the other. I love the effect, do you?

This is an easy technique to create a fun background. You do need to use watercolour paper. Basic White cardstock will not stand up to the water and may pil. I’ve used Fluid 100 watercolour cardstock. This has two sides to it. I’ve used the smoother side.

The nature of watercolour cardstock means it will have a certain degree of texture. This allows the water to move on the page. You may not get a perfect impression the first time you stamp and I recommend using a stamping tool.
