Make this Birthday Card Today – Two Tone Flora – Crafting with Ashee – Independent Stampin’ Up! Demo – Lincoln UK

Two-step stamping sets are great as they allow you to add dimension and depth so easily to your stamped images. I love them as they allow me to get a more realistic image when stamping. The Two Tone Flora set is great for this. The images are gorgeous and make me long for summer and lots of flowers.

I’m back with another Friday Focus post. In May we have been looking at using colour in our cards. Today I am using all the colours in the rainbow here. I love making rainbow cards. They are vibrant, bold and such fun. These cute little dragonflies really pop.

I couldn’t resist doodling a little with a white gel pen to add highlights to the dragonflies. The rhinestones are the perfect finishing touch.

Strawberries Anyone? How to Make a Fun Card? Sweet Strawberry Stamp Set & Punch – Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator based in Lincoln UK.

Although I am writing this blog in June it will go out in July. The beginning of July heralds Wimbledon and of course strawberries & cream. I’ve already had some delicious strawberries this year. I’m not made about cream so had iced cream instead. We have some local pick your own strawberry farms here but with just my mother and I we wouldn’t be able to eat all we would pick in time.

Happy Birthday My Sweet – Card – Sweet Strawberry – Independent Stampin’ Up Demonstrator based in Lincoln UK

This is a very simple monochromatic birthday card. I am starting to use embossing folders more and more in my designs. They add great texture and interest to backgrounds. The one I used here is called Pretty Flowers and is new in the catalogue. The rhinestones really make the flowers pop. Sometimes these tiny finishing touches really make a card.
