Super Easy Birthday Card – Scalloped Tag Design – With You In Mind – Crafting with Ashee – Independent Stampin’ Up! Demo – UK

Today I’m sharing two quick and elegant birthday cards that prove simplicity can still pack a beautiful punch. These cards feature the Paper Tags dies and sentiments from the With You in Mind stamp set—perfect for creating heartfelt birthday wishes in no time at all.

Using coordinating designer series papers, a touch of ribbon, and soft layered colours, this design works brilliantly whether you’re crafting a single card or making a batch to have on hand. Let’s take a closer look!

A Simple Layout That Shines

Both cards use the same layout—a centred sentiment panel on a beautiful background—but with different colour schemes and papers to create two distinct looks.

  • Card 1 features Misty Moonlight and Cloud Cover cardstock paired with the soft florals from the Flowering Meadow designer series paper (DSP). I added the Silver and White Sheer ribbon and rhinestones for a touch of sparkle.
  • Card 2 goes for a vibrant feel with Gorgeous Grape and Fresh Freesia, paired with the delicate textures of the Perennial Lavender DSP.

Tips for Making Your Own Tri Part Folio

  • Stick with strong adhesives to keep the folds and layers nice and secure.
  • Add embellishments sparingly —This is going to go in people’s bags so you don’t want embellishments to be knocked off.

In the video tutorial linked below, I show you step-by-step how to create this Tri Part Folio from scratch. You’ll be amazed how quickly it comes together!

Here’s a little peek inside:

  • The folio opens out in three sections.
