These adorable little Christmas decorations are sure to bring some festive cheer to your table or tree! They feature Father Christmas and an Elf from the Festive Friends stamp and die set, and they’re perfect for adding a personal, handmade touch to your Christmas décor.

I coloured both characters using Stampin’ Blend alcohol markers, matching the colours to the patterned paper I used for the box-style envelopes. The rich reds and greens really make these designs pop and give that traditional Christmas feel we all love.

The little envelope that Father Christmas and the Elf are peeking out of was created using the Jolly Delivery die set. It’s actually a small box-style envelope—such a clever design that can hold a little treat inside. I first die-cut the envelope base from Shaded Spruce cardstock for the green one and Real Red cardstock for the red one.

Next, I die cut the same shapes again using the Christmas Tags and More Designer Series Paper. I then used scissors to cut out each patterned section and matted them neatly onto the cardstock bases. This creates a lovely layered effect and ties in perfectly with the colouring on the stamped images.

Multiple Uses

Behind each character, I tucked a few gold coins—adding a fun, sweet surprise! I used some ribbon from my stash to make these into hanging decorations. Alternatively, these little decorations would also make wonderful place name markers for your Christmas table. Add a name tag and a treat inside, and your guests will have a delightful keepsake to take home with them.

These projects are quick, festive, and a lovely way to make your Christmas celebration extra special. Whether you hang them on the tree or use them as table décor, they’re sure to bring smiles all around!

I love to make my own Christmas decor. Do you? I’ve had these wooden baubles in my stash for years. Each year I take a few out to decorate. This year I’ve used the Snowy Wonder stamp set. I love all the cute images in this set. They are perfect to creat a wintery scene.

I stamped in a permanent ink and coloured in using the Stampin’ Write markers. The rhinestones in the centre of the snowflakes bring the whole design to life.

This cute Christmas tree was created using the background tree design from the Decorative Trees die set. I die-cut the image three times and folded each one in half in the centre. The paper is from the Take a Bow designer series paper (DSP). I made a red version below. Which do you like best?

This looks so good, doesn’t it? You can add a ribbon to hang it or add it as a topper to a gift box or even a napkin ring. These rosettes are very easy to make. There are dies that can be used to make these but you don’t need them. I just used my scoring tool and bingo there you go.

How to Make Christmas Decor with Wood Slices – Poinsettia Dies – Pine Tree Punch – Crafting with Ashee – Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator – Lincoln UK.

I bought a huge stack of wood slices online in one day deal and have been trying to use them up ever since. These are my makes this year and I love them. I’ve made three different ones and think they look great hung up on the tree.

There are so many things you and do with the wood slices. You can of course stamp on them. I would advise you to use Stazon ink to make sure it sticks to the wood slice and stays there of course. You can use black or in this case, I’ve used Saddle Brown. You can also paint them or sponge the paint onto them to make them look like snow.

I used die-cuts to decorate them. I love this poinsettia one, but then I love poinsettias. To make the die-cuts pop I inked the edges of all the die cuts to make them really pop against the background.
