I love this fun pop-out gift card holder. I am a traditionalist when it comes to Christmas. The combination of green and red looks good together. The designer series paper (DSP) is Sentimental Christmas. It reminds me of those Victorian Christmases you see in some films.

You could alter the measurements to use them for gift vouchers instead of a gift card. I loved gift vouchers compared to gift cards. The gift cards can be reused but in reality that doesn’t happen. I have a box full of old ones that I use with my texture paste and reinkers.

I love that Stampin’ Up! has introduced a range of ephemera packs to its range. They are great not only for quick and easy cards but for memory keeping such as scrapbooking as well. I love the image of the log cabin on the card above. It reminds me of the little log cabin from the “House in the Big Woods” by Laura Ingalls Wilder.

I like the combination of blues and reds in this card, although close to each on the colour wheel, they are both primary colours and compliment each other well. Gingham is one of my favourite patterns, what is yours? Artful Amaryllis is a two-step stamp set. This makes for quick and easy colouring of images. You can of course colour them yourself as I’ve done in this card.

I love how this card turned out. These are meant to be amaryllis flowers but I think they could pass for poinsettia ones as well. What do you think? These flowers were created using the Artful Amaryllis dies. I used Real Red and Old Olive cardstock which I inked to give more variation in colour.

Do you like making fun/ fancy fold cards? I do. This is a simple easel card featuring the Snow Scenes designer series paper (DSP). I love this paper as there are many images that can be fussy cut to make lots of die cuts. There is a matching stamp and die bundle. The dies match some of the images in the DSP. I love it when that happens. Less fussy cutting for me!!

I will admit that the Decorative Trees stamp and die bundle wasn’t at the top of my shopping list, and at first, I didn’t buy it. I kept looking at the dies and thinking of all the projects I could make with them. Of course, I gave in, and now I love the bundle.

This card is one we made in card club. There are many different decorative trees to choose and of course, you can vary the colours accordingly. I stuck with traditional green and red.

How to Use the Take a Bow Die Set – Tutorial – Crafting with Ashee – Independent Stampin’ Up! Demo – Lincon UK

If you are like me, when I saw a die that made bows I had to have it. As a person who can’t make a bow to save my life, I knew a die that would do it for me was for me. I received the die set. I opened it and stared at and stared at it some more. How was I meant to make a bow from this? I went to YouTube and watched a few tutorials and this is my way to use it.

6″X 6″ paper works perfectly for this die. I used the matching Take a Bow designer series paper (DSP). you need two sheets to make each bow. You need two of everything except the smallest strip. Watch the video below to see the full tutorial.

I was looking through my pretty paper and noticed I hadn’t used much of the Winter Meadow designer series paper (DSP). It is lovely paper and deserves to be used. This is the card I came up with. It is a tonal Christmas card and I love it. Do you?

I love to use my scraps. I hate having tons of leftovers. Are you the same? This is a great way to use scraps. I took strips of designer series paper and stuck them to a piece of Basic White cardstock in an order that was pleasing to my eye. A tip is to ensure they are well stuck done, I used an adhesive sheet but you could also use a wet glue. This became my “new” patterned paper to die cut as I pleased.
