Today I have a gorgeous card using the Rooted in Nature stamp set. I love this set and it has matching framelits!!! This card can be a sympathy card or just a card to say I’m thinking of you.
This is a very simple card with a standard A6 card base and one additional piece of whisper white cardstock measuring 10cm x 14.35cm.
I love the blending of the yellows and oranges in this card. It’s one of my favourite parts of crafting; playing with colours
I am sorry I’ve been AWOL for so long, unfortunately my health hasn’t been at its best but hopefully I am on the right road now.
I have a cute birthday card to share with you today that I actually made a few months ago but never got to publish the video. It’s using the Playful Pals stamp set which I absolutely love. I have used the image of the otter but you could quite easily one of the other cute little critters as well. This set is perfect for colouring and I have used the stampin blends alcohol markers to colour my image. They would equally as good using the watercolour pencils as well.
I am going to try and post videos now three times a week on my YouTube channel so please subscribe.
Thank you for stopping by and I hope that you all had an amazing Christmas and all the best for the New Year.
I hope this finds you well. It’s a lovely sunny day here in Lincoln.
The last few weeks have been busy. I received all my new craft products from the new catty and have been busy putting everything away. I can’t wait to start playing with everything.
I have done a video showing you all the lovely goodies I got from the new Stampin’ Up! catalogue. If you want to see anything in more detail, just let me know.
Unfortunately it is Monday again and the weather is commiserating with me by raining. The new catalogue went live on Thursday I have done my order. It should be here on Wednesday and I will do a video showing you the goodies I have got.
I have a quick and easy card for you today showcasing the new Eastern Palace Suite of products. I love how easy Stampin’ Up! make it to create cards with all their wonderful coordination.
I had a lovely day today. We found a wonderful nursery just north of us. They had lots of lovely veggie plants as well as strawberries and huge variety of other bedding plants. They also have a great tea room that serves hot food as well. I got some herbs as well Fuschias and geraniums.
Stampin’ Up!
I have a cute congratulations card to share with you today. I wasn’t sure how I was going to use the stickers in the Eastern Palace Suite but I am growing to like them as accents on card. I love how the gold embossing coordinates with the gold foil sheet and stickers.
The new Stampin’ Up! catty launches tomorrow. I can’t wait. I will do a video when I get my goodies to show you all. If you want a copy let me know as always.
I hope everyone is having a wonderful bank holiday weekend. We were so lucky to have beautiful sun her last week and the garden is looking great. I have built two mini greenhouses and am starting to sew some lettuces to start off in there and then bring out. The tomatoes are growing well and geraniums are starting to flower.
I have a one sheet wonder bag today for you. This is made from one sheet of 12 x 12 designer series paper. There is no cutting involved so its a a very easy bag for a newbie to make. The colour used is one of our new in colours “Fresh Fig”.
This is quite a big bag so will hold loads of goodies. I love how elegant it looks but also how simple and easy it is to make.
The new Stampin’ Up! catty launches on Thursday 1st June. I am so excited, I just can’t wait. If you haven’t got your copy yet then just click on the request catty button and I will get one right out to you.
I hope everyone has been having a wonderful bank holiday. I spent a large part of it taking my mother plant shopping. She has bought tons of tubs, compost and plants. We only moved into this house last year so this is the year to start getting the garden into shape. We have quite a big back garden and a little bit out front as well. I bought some tomatoes to plant, also going to get some potatoes and later on lettuce. I love planting food. It is so rewarding to eat veggies you grew yourself.
Last month I went to convention in Amsterdam. I have never been to Amsterdam so was great to be able to go sight seeing as well. I saw Anne Frank’s house which I have always wanted to see as well as the Van Gogh Museum. The bonus of going to convention is you get to see the paper version of the new annual Stampin’ Up! catalogue and do a special pre order. I have done a video showing all the goodies I got in my order as well as the Eastern Palace Suite.
The Eastern Palace Suite is a suite of products in the new catalogue that is being made available as two special bundles ahead of the new catalogue launch. You can purchase them from today until 31st May through my online shop. The best bit is that you also get a freebie with each bundle. Yeah!!!
I hope you are all well. It is grey wet day here in Lincoln. Definitely not the type of day to poke your nose outside. I therefore decided to do some crafting to cheer up myself up and thought I would share this birthday card I made with you.
I absolutely love this die set. It is so intricate and detailed but cuts beautifully, all the little pieces come out easily and there is no struggle to get the die cut out of the die. It comes in a bundle with “So in Love” stamp set with a saving of 10%.
It has been ages since I have blogged. Unfortunately life has got in the way. It is a lovely sunny day here in Lincoln, unlike the rest of the country we didn’t get any snow, just rain. I thought I would share this balloon pop up card with you today. I just love these thinlits as they make such a nice card that just makes you smile. The colour combination is also one of my favourites.
I hope you have a great weekend and enjoy being creative.
I hope that you are well. Can you believe it that we are starting to make Christmas cards. Eeek!!! The clocks go back in a few weeks too. It really feels as if winter is on the way and I am starting to feel the cold. I thought I would start my Christmas cards and do something enjoyable on these longer and longer nights.
This is a very simple card made using the Candy Cane Lane washi tape. I like this kind of card as it is the type that you can make in bulk with out too much difficulty. I rediscovered my love of heat embossing too. There is always something magical watching the powder turn from a dull silver to this bright metallic silver colour.
The accent stars are the metallic enamel shapes. I do love enamel dots. You get a range of designs in one package which is great.
Until next time enjoy being creative
